Dani: Day One


The competition started today, and I feel great!! Tracy (my trainer) and I sat down and went over our game plan, including a healthier diet and new exercise routine at 7am. After a mini workout, and a 8:15 RPM class I was pooped. :) I'm not terribly out of shape, but I'm definately not used to early morning workouts. Jason and I also walked our pit bulls around the neighborhood for some extra cardio after dinner. I'm really excited to see how much information I attain and how my overall lifestyle changes.

My Day One Food Journal:

Breakfast: two Quaker rice cakes
Lunch: two seasoned, grilled chicken breasts & stemmed broccoli
Snack: Protein shake
Dinner: Cobb Salad with Steak and Chicken, tomatoes, egg whites, cucumbers and carrots. I got a delicious tomato basil vinagrette (on the side) as well as a baked potato (butter on the side). I also had unsweetened tea..okay, I split a sugar packet over two teas.

**One thing I must improve on is my consumption of water. I did not come near to the 6-8 glasses of water a day.

Workout at 8am tomorrow. :)
